Use a spellbinder die to make a "shaped" card and then decorate with your favorite image. This is a cheery way to make someone's day featuring TAC's Wonder and Joy stamp set colored with Copics. And, by continuing the design inside the card, you add to the joy brought by the card. :)
Have a wonderfully creative day!

Congratulations to a friend and a notecard
Congratulations are in order for my friend, Heather Scott! She wrote an article on coloring with chalks in this month's CardMaker Magazine. woo hoo!!! You can check out Heather's blog here: http://stampez.typepad.com/ and CardMaker Magazine here: http://www.cardmakermagazine.com/ . You will be glad you checked out those links!!
Here's a notecard that I just love. How can you go wrong when you use versamark to create a background on kraft cardstock?! You can't!!! I love it! A little ink over an embossed butterfly finishes off the card.
Supplies: kraft, black and white cardstock; TAC Happily Grateful, Spellbinders Labels 3
Have a happily creative day!

"Whale" Hello!
The Angel Company's Oh Happy Day and Background Soup stamps
A little wink and a smile in a card. What friend wouldn't want to get that in the mail? There's a little shimmer gel pen and a little copic coloring and some nesties (labels 3) that combined with some pop dots and sparkly ribbon make a fun little card.
I am already behind and the new year has hardly begun. I was hoping to catch up over the holidays but got felled by a bug and am just now getting back to normal (no comment from the peanut gallery - lol!). But, I'm still hoping to get out blog hopping very soon!
Have a fabulously creative day!

Butter My Buns and Happy New Year!
Happy 2011! I hope the new year brings you many blessings and happy times! Mine is starting off a little differently than I planned. I caught a holiday bug so have been hunkered down the last few days which is why this post is much later than I originally intended. .
Here's a card that was a big hit in a holiday gift. It looks much better in person. The camera angle is not the best and the image is blown a bit so please forgive.
The head is popped up to add some dimension. You can see how the head hovers above the original stamped image. Love the Funny Farm and Funny Farm Phrases TAC stamp sets. :)
A few punched circles add some visual interest inside the card.
Thanks for popping past my blog and have a delightfully creative day!
