many thanks

Tis the season not only of Christmas cards but also Thank You cards. This one is a super fast card that can have many different looks depending on which papers you use. This version uses TAC's Juliette paper with a Juliette tag and a heart pearl from the clear and pearl gem collection. Love those embellishments. :) The sentiment is from the TAC Hostess B set "Love You."

Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and cheers to a fabulously creative day!

teal sparkly thank you

Heather taught us this great way to use the sequins in the gem packs by adding a little stickles. It makes a cute little sparkly embellishment and really makes the sequins pop! There is also a little scoring and a little versamark polka dot background. I love the silver on the teal paper and the TAC Swooping Sentiments covered with the shimmer gel pen! It's a fun thank you card to share.
wow - this looks more sparkly in the photo than it does in person. that's funny - usually it's the opposite. This card is full of shimmer but is more subtle than this photo shows. : )

Have a happy and creative day!

Sarcastic sheep

What could be more fun than a sarcastic sheep? lol! This combines Funny Farm Friends with Laugh Lines. Can't go wrong with that combo!
Love the addition of fun flock on the sheep to add a little texture and a little bit of shimmer gel pen around the eyes and hooves and dotted around the edge of the octagon. :) A little shimmer is always a good thing!
Can you read the text? Outside: "I'm not so good with advice." Inside: "Can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?" Isn't that a hoot?!!! I love it!

Thanks for popping by and have a wonderfully creative day!

Deck The Halls Blog Hop - Acetate Merry Wishes

Welcome to TAC's Deck the Halls Blog Hop.I had to miss the last one so was so excited to get to play this time. This is a quick and fun card featuring the snowman from TAC Winter Flurries and TAC Ornamental Snowflakes. It's hard to see in the photo but it's got three layers. The snowman is stamped on the cream card base and colored and then ornamental snowflakes are stamped on acetate with white staz-on and layered over the snowman. The top layer is Reece paper with a Labels 4 nesties shape cut out of it. Isn't this fun and festive? It was a big hit with my class Monday night! Thanks for stopping by and hope you'll pop through to check out the other fabulous creations on those hopping with TAC. Have a wonderfully creative day!

One of A Kind in Purple

How adorable is this image?
She's called "One of a Kind" and is a TAC hostess set. Now through January, all hostess benefits are doubled and even customer rewards are doubled too! How groovy is that? So, back to the card, this sweet little girl was colored with Copic markers and the shape is cut out with nesties Labels 1. A few flowers and some bling added some fun finishing touches. And, I love the bench in grey, don't you? I'm still working on coloring flesh and getting the cheeks colored just so and getting the shading but practice has helped. What do you think? If you have any tips, feel free to share them.

Have a happily, creative day!

Just Bee-cause Variations (an oldie but a goodie)

whew - the first craft fair was so much fun and it was great to see everyone who stopped by in Beloit. That was a week ago! I can't believe it's taken me so long to post again. Sorry about that. I caught a cold and was exhausted and work was busy and well...you know the drill. Always trying to catch up. :) Here are some fun bee cards that I put together for a friend who raises bees. So fun to play with this retired set!
