TAC Inspiration Book 2009-2010!!!

Oh my gosh - I just got home a couple of hours ago from the TAC seminar and let me tell you, I hurt from how much we laughed for 3 1/2 days! This group of Angels is just FABULOUS!!! We had a blast and got to play with new stamps and paper and tools! Loved it all and can't wait to share it with you!!! We've got over 30 new stamp sets and you'll be able to see them well because the images are 100% again - woo hoo!!!

And, guess what?!!! I had two cards chosen for the catalog!!! I was so excited and was jumping around and carrying on like a crazy person!!! Made my day!

Here are the two cards. This one is on page 108 of the catalog and features two of my favorite sets, Just Dream and Script Background, as well as the Hemingway SWIC paper.

This card is on page 75 and was changed just slightly for the catalog to feature Birthday Wishes instead of Sweet Goodies. It's all good. Don't you love the Sands of Time paper?

It was great to meet so many of my blogging and message board buddies at seminar and to the local angels as well as the "hanging out buds" - a special shout out and hug!

Happy Stamping!!!

My seminar swap helpers!

I just got home from a lovely week-end at my sister's house. I was going to help Grandma with the kiddos while my sister was in the combine but it rained so we all got to play together instead. :) It was perfect for me since I needed to make swaps for The Angel Company seminar which starts later this week. Well, I had help so thought I'd share a pic of my two fabulous helpers and how we all work together. It's an ordered chaos. The two-year-old sits on the left leg and the 4-year old sits on the right and that's not to be changed! Trust me - if the other sits on "my leg" then there's tears and shoving - it's not good - esp. for me who gets caught in the middle. But, honestly they work pretty well together as we've done it a lot over the years. There is a lot of repeating by the two year - especially - WAIT, WAIT - before we could do this or that (wonder where he learned that - LOL!) - especially glue or cut or stamp. They each took turns turning the dreamkuts handle or catching the paper or punching or pulling the trimmer blade down. They helped color but putting their hand on top of mine and they each helped stamp by putting their hands on the block after I put it down. we'd all press and then I'd say "hands off" and they'd both raise their hands to the sky and giggle and then we'd do the next one. And, still with that - got lots done. good times. And, they're really good at picking up stuff that falls to the floor - heh heh heh! :)

I do have to say that it was very hard to leave this morning and I got a big ole puffed out lower lip sad face when I said bye bye to the little one. Broke my heart. But, he's a trooper and played fine soon after I left. Sure nice to be loved!

I'll post a card in the next one but just had to share this fun and special crafting moment. Happy Stamping!

Birthday Cupcake!

Aren't these fabulous colors for a cupcake?!!! I would like to salute, Heather, my guest colorist (LOL!)! Heather is so artistic and just makes an image come to life! I'm still trying to learn from the master and she's so generous with sharing her knowledge! I'm a lucky to have such a great angel G'ma! ;) So, how did I get her to color a bunch of cupcakes...just lucky that she needed something else to do one stamping night! Thanks! So - what do you think? I added some crystal stickles to a background layering piece made with versamark ink and swirlies (love that stamp set!) and the cloud scissors finished it off. Can't go wrong with TAC's Little Cupcake stamp set for all kinds of birthday cards and treat bags!

Sneak Peek Robots - Happy Birthday Cards!

I'm digging these sneak peek Robot stamps from TAC!!! Isn't the Kaleidoscope Boyz paper perfect for the robots?!! I love it! The deckle scissors add the perfect "edge" for the design. And, how about using the mega circle punch and the mega square punch with the corners rounded by the handy dandy zutter corner rounder to "mimic" a variation on the paper design.

Barb Foster mentioned pink robots when she saw this set and I had been thinking the same thing! Love pairing pink and black so Uptown Girl paper is perfect for finishing this version of the birthday card! It's one of my favorite papers!! And, look how awesome the cloud scissors accent the edges!!!

These are my make-n-takes for a crop in Wamego so hope they're a hit! If you're coming, you'll be able to make whichever version you prefer! So fun!

Here's the complete set. TAC™ Promos

They'll be in the new catalog which is being released in TWO WEEKS!!! Woo hoo!!! Can't wait to see all the new stamps and goodies!!! However, you don't have to wait to get this super fun stamp set! Contact me if you're interested!

Some Bunny

How about a little homespun bunny for a baby congratulations card or get well card or a thinking of you card or...? You get the idea. If you're like me, sometimes you get locked into thinking a stamp can only be used for one type of card but really the possibilities are endless! It's just how you think of using them. So, challenge yourself to think outside of the box and try to use a stamp in a different way or on a different type of card! Have fun playing!
Supplies used: TAC Some Bunny Stamp Set, Bubblegum paper posies, DCVW Robin's Egg 3, Giga Scalloped Circle Punch, Prismacolor Pencils, nestabilities
