Bunnies and Butterflies and Winter Round-up!

I planned to post another bunny card pic too but I apparently didn't take a picture of it so need to see if I sent it or if I still have it in my stash. :) This one of the cards from my class in March. I just love this new TAC stamp set "Some Bunny"! I hope you can see the shimmer from the pearlescent watercolors. Shop for TAC products on my secure on-line shopping site: Some Bunny, Pearlescent and Mettalic Watercolor Palette, Niji Waterbrush, Assorted bitty blossoms, giga scalloped punch, deckle scissors

Here's a lavendar butterfly version of the thank you card that you may remember from a post or two ago. I love this pretty petunia versamagic ink!
I spent the week-end at Winter Round-up which is a stamping retreat with TAC angels organized by Heather, Avis and Lori. Wow - sooo much fun! Made really great projects and learned a lot! Hung out with old friends and made lots of new ones too. I have a new kindred spirit (anyone read the Anne of Green Gables series when you were a kid? loved it!) with a great sense of humor! Hugs to her as she had some trauma when her house burned down on Monday but luckily the family is all ok so whew! We're gathering stamping supplies for her and she's approaching the situation with a great attitude. Big hugs, my friend!!!
Here's a small group of us online buddies that post regularly on a TAC forum. So great to meet you in person you fabulous angels!

Hug your loved ones, pet your fur babies and keep on stamping!

Masculine Birthday Card for the Golfer

How about a super quick masculine b-day card? Kraft cardstock is the base for the card and the image. Burnt Umber palette ink and brown scrappers floss highlight the image from the TAC "FORE" stamp set and Willoughby is the patterned paper under the image. Love that paper!

Have a super week-end and Happy Stamping!

Thank You Cards

supplies: butterfly bits, bitty blossoms, kraft, black, white, versamagic Pumpkin Spice, misc. ribbon, retired TAC Spring 08 Level B hostess set

Do you know, I am the worst about sending thank you cards. Not when it comes to big things where I send invites - thank yous are an essential part of a formal invitation party! But what slips through the cracks are those thoughtful little moments, gestures and even gifts for birthday or Christmas. It's not that I'm not appreciative because I totally am! I always have great intentions but let other priorities get in the way of my personal priorities. I recently made an order of thank you cards and it made me realize that I should make up a set to keep on hand to send out as soon as I receive a gift. OK - I haven't done that yet but I think I should (LOL!). :)

These should inspire me to get started down the grateful path. :)
supplies: kraft, black, white, cupcake paper posies *discontinued by supplier, I Love Easter (isn't this fun? just use the blossoms from the bunny in the flower pot to create a Spring look from an Easter stamp), scor-pal, retired TAC Spring 08 Level B hostess set
supplies: Pattern Sayings, crystal stickles, bazzill blue/green, black, purple DCVW, bitty blossoms

supplies: brown, kraft, willoughby, bitty blossoms, Gift with purchase stamp - thank you

So, if I owe you a thank you, please accept my apology and know that I really am grateful. Thank you!!!

Blissfully Ever After Blog Hop

It's time for another blog hop challenge. I sure enjoy seeing all of the different ways the same stamp set can be used. This time we're featuring Blissfully Ever After which is a sweet stamp set for weddings. Love the scripty font with this set. I was very limited on time for this one so I'm posting a new card that's simple and quick but charming.

I love the combination of the kraft cardstock base mixed with scarlet, black and white. L'Amour Red palette ink and a black glaze gel pen dotting up the smaller scallops finishes it off. I really love how this card turned out.

Almost a year ago, I featured blissfully ever after in a post - check it out for some other fun ideas with this stamp set. Here's a little more of the waterfall card - isn't this fun?

Check out the other creative takes with this stamp set!

Treat bags

Do you ever find yourself needing a little something to cheer someone up or thank someone for their thoughtfulness? I wanted to put together something to thank some ladies who made my life easier recently. What do you think? It's a quick and easy project!

Hershey nuggets in a clear bag with a bag topper sent through the cuttlebug and embellished with TAC's Hats Off stamp set!

And, how about a drink to go along with the candy? This is an apple cider treat bag with cinnamon candies and a bag topper featuring the super jumbo flower punch and scrappers floss tied through a button. You can curl it by wrapping it around a paper piercer or bamboo skewer or anything round. It helps if it's just very slightly damp first.
