Stacy set up a Thanksgiving Angel Art Challenge on Paperwings. Although the forum is for TAC Demos only, the majority of the gallery is open to the public. You should check it out for some fabulous ideas! So, back to the challenge, Stacy challenged us to create a TAC Thanksgiving Project or Card. I chose a card that can either be given as a gift enclosure card or used as a placecard for the table setting. I did this card for my October card class and it was a big hit!
The card features the Give Thanks TAC stamp set which I borrowed from my friend, Barb N. Thanks! I used the coluzzle to create the 3" circle card out of the bazzill monochromatic orange pack. The coloring was done with prismacolor pencils and Goo Gone and then "grounded" with a grey tombow marker. Pop dots and ribbon finished it off. The circles (brown and white ultrasmooth) were cut with the coluzzle so it was sooo easy and quick! I love the shadow and shading you can get with the goo gone coloring technique. Heather taught me some tips for shading for which I'm so grateful. Thanks, G'Ma! (she's my upline's, upline in TAC so I call her g'ma! *grin*).
Here's a link to the other angels participating in the challenge so you can check out their fantastic projects too!

Barb L. and Barb F. have both nominated me for blog awards this week. Wow - thanks you awesome ladies!!! I love visiting both of their blogs so I hope you take a minute to check out their fabulous creations!
Barb L.nominated me first with the Encouraging Award. I love that. It's great to get words of encouragement as that little thought is sometimes the best pick-me-up of the day!

Barb F. nominated me for the Kreativ Blogger award. Wow - this is really neat. I've really had to think how to narrow it down.

So, who do I nominate? It's soooo hard because there are soooooo many fabulous bloggers out there. So, take a minute and visit some of the blogs in my sidebar and check out the fabulosity that pours out of these super creative people!!
Happy Stamping!
